Moscow State University (Russia)

In collaboration with Moscow State University (MSU), a MetGIS forecast web interface in Russian Language has been constructed, covering the Caucasus as a whole and in particular Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain of Europe (5642m). Verification of MetGIS predictions with data from a meteorological station (altitude 5100m) proved the excellent quality of MetGIS temperature forecasts, also in very high altitudes.
